The 4 Types of Intelligence

Many of us are only familiar about IQ, but in actuality, there are more types of intelligence in a person. And well-roundedness, excellence in all the intelligences is a powerful key to success:

According to Psychologists, there are four types of Intelligence:

1) Intelligence Quotient (IQ)

2) Emotional Quotient (EQ)

3) Social Quotient (SQ)

4) Adversity Quotient (AQ)

1. Intelligence Quotient (IQ): this is the measure of your level of comprehension. You need IQ to solve math problems, memorize things, and recall lessons.

2. Emotional Quotient (EQ): this is the measure of your ability to maintain peace with others, keep to time, be responsible, be honest, respect boundaries, be humble, genuine and considerate. This is what we can call "being wise".

3. Social Quotient (SQ): this is the measure of your ability to build a network of friends and maintain it over a long period of time. High SQ people are usually extroverts and recognize the value of having friends in many places.

People that have higher EQ and SQ tend to go further in life than those with a high IQ but low EQ and SQ. Most schools capitalize on improving IQ levels while EQ and SQ are played down.

A man of high IQ can end up being employed by a man of high EQ and SQ even though he has an average IQ.

Your EQ represents your Character, while your SQ represents your Charisma. Identify, nurture and develop habits that will improve these three Qs, especially your EQ and SQ.

Now there is a 4th one, a new paradigm:

4. The Adversity Quotient (AQ): The measure of your ability to go through a rough patch in life, and come out of it without losing your mind.

When faced with troubles, AQ determines who will give up, who will abandon their family, and who will consider suicide.

Parents please expose your children to other areas of life than just Academics. Teach them to value discipline, manual labor (never use work as a form of punishment), sports and the arts and music.

As we strive to develop their IQ, we should as well, with equal importance, be aware of and help them nurture their EQ, SQ and AQ. They should become "well-rounded" and complete human beings to be able to do things, become competent in the world, independently of their parents.

Finally, this saying: "Do not prepare the road for your children. Prepare your children for the road."

God Bless

Grant Cardone on the School of Greatness Interview is a Gem

This morning I've done with prayer/gratitude meditation with my dreamboard. Then, as I was preparing stuff for the gym I listened to the Grant Cardone interview, talk with Lewis Howes (School of Greatness). Lots of takeaways on selling, mindset, strategy, etc.

I recommend you get wireless headphones and listen to programs that enrich your mind and spirit often, daily. You listen to them as you're doing something "automatic" like driving, washing dishes, walking, etc. Youtube has a ton of videos on diverse topics from thought leaders.

I also recommend that you take notes if you can. Apply it on your life and business. Knowledge is garbage if its not implemented, used or acted upon.

Have a Happy Day!

Daily Quote #1 - It's Still Not Too Late to Start Building the Life of Your Dreams

I'm back. As part of my recovery(been very ill), I am committing to a daily quote post for this year 2022. I will be posting it on my social media and blog/website, as a means of sharing my thought to the world, in the hope that it inspire, uplift, and inform.

CQ #1: It's Still Not Too Late to Start Building the Life of Your Dreams

At the state I am in, with all the challenges and difficulties, I asked myself: Is it time to give up? To just stop all of this and quit on my dreams? Just give up and disappear?

I searched and thought to myself deeply, and the thought sounded very attractive indeed. But then, I asked myself: "Who are you? Have you done what you feel is your Purpose in this World? Is the world a much better place because you've lived? I had to answer: "No. Not yet". So, that is the simple reason why I just can't stop yet. As one of the poems of a favorite poet(of my father), Robert Frost says: " The woods are lovely, dark and deep, But I've got promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep". So, I guess, I just can't sleep yet.

You? Do you KNOW that you still need to do something in this world? Have you written that book? Have you helped many people? Have you secured your family? What promises have you yet have to keep? Have you kept the promise to yourself to Live the Life of Your Dreams?

If you're feeling down and hopeless, in these times, a very many people are. But take heart, there is ALWAYS, a silver lining. And, as the saying goes: "this too, shall pass". As long as we are alive and capable, we can STILL work towards our Dream Life, starting small if need be. Believe me, as long as you are committed, and dedicated, there are many "easy to start" side businesses one can build on, and gain momentum with, to reach for bigger and bigger goals in life.

I know it sounds cliche, but the key is to NEVER GIVE UP. Especially if it means that you've yet to fulfill your Mission/ Purpose. Especially, if you've still got promises to keep. And especially, if you've got dependents depending on you to stand for them, to guide them, to provide for them. For those of us who do, it's still many more miles before we can sleep.

God bless everyone and much love.
